Vehicle banksman training

Reversing manoeuvres are common, but dangerous – particularly in confined spaces. Our banksman training courses are for all those involved in manoeuvring, loading and unloading vehicles. They teach delegates how to guide large goods vehicles, both rigid and articulated, plant machinery, forklifts and any other site traffic that may need marshalling around site, using the HSE approved code of signals.

Completion of this vehicle banksman course ensure the workforce carrying out these duties are doing so in accordance with the regulation and these good practices will assure safe vehicle movements around the premises.

Vehicle banksman award

Vehicle banksman training ensures that an organisation meets its legal requirements and reduces the risk of  accidents when carrying out common, but dangerous, reversing manoeuvres.

This course is designed to raise awareness of the dangers caused when large vehicles reverse. It introduces practical techniques, the use of hand signals and clear and concise communication to assist drivers with these manoeuvres on site.
